Red Rocks Amphitheater

Evergreen

We recommend hiking to the nearby Maxwell Falls for a scenic hike. Then, head into Historic Downtown Evergreen where you can shop, eat, drink and explore. Make sure to stop into the Little Bear Saloon!



Idaho Springs

(32 miles from the wedding venue)

Take a trip back into Colorado's gold mining history at the Argo Mill and Tunnel. Visit the Tommyknocker Brewery for a beer and a bite to eat! If you're looking for adventure, there are nearby zip lines, and exciting rafting trips on Clear Creek.



Saint Mary's Glacier

Check out this 2.4-mile out-and-back trail near Idaho Springs. Generally considered a moderate hike, it takes an average of 1 hr 30 min to complete. See the beautiful lake and year-round glacier at the end of the trail. This is a very popular area for fishing, picnics, and hiking, so you'll encounter other people while exploring.



Breckenridge

(80 miles from the wedding venue)

It's known for its ski resort, year-round alpine activities and Gold Rush history. Buildings from the 1880s are now shops, galleries, and restaurants. Autumn is arguably the most beautiful time of year to visit Breckenridge. Enjoy the incredible fall foliage, fall in Breckenridge is an amazing time to discover everything this mountain town has to offer. The Bride and Groom recommend heading to the Blue Stag Saloon, try their rattlesnake and elk sausages!

A store you could only find in America. You'll find a 45’ fireplace as you walk in. Off in the distance, you’ll see the 35’ mountain feature complete with local taxidermy by the waterfall.
